The rooms at Hope Land Hotel Sukhumvit 46/1 are totally my kind of cozy. They have modern amenities like a LCD television and free Wi-Fi, which are perfect for a budget traveller like me who likes to stay connected. I especially loved the spacious room with its amazing city views - it made me feel right at home.
To be honest, the separate bathtubs and showers in the private bathrooms were not really my thing. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The hotel is very beautiful and thr staff was extremely friendly amd helpful. However the room looked a bit weary, eg there were huge leaking stains on the ceiling. But the bathroom was spacious and new and clean. Hotels located near skytrain which is good to escape the endless traffic in bangkok. Our major goal was shopping and going out and for those things we could have picked the hotel in some other location.

I chose this hotel for attending a forum as it provides great amenities for business travelers. The business center was well-equipped, and the complimentary newspapers in the lobby were a nice touch. The dry cleaning/laundry services were also efficient and convenient.
The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated meeting room or conference facilities. It would have been beneficial to have a space specifically designed for meetings or presentations.

Friendly Staff Overall
1. Desk staff confused reservations for different parties (under the same family name). We were in the wrong rooms and it mixed up the billing for extras. This caused us to pay extra for a crib since we had originally booked a double. 2. The bell staff said something under there breath about a "cheap tip", not knowing that soem of our party are fluent. We tipped at western levels; (something many colleagues in Thailand do not like b/c it erodes the local, non-tip Thai culture.) The bell boys are getting greedy. I cut them off.

Very pleasant & friendly but staff are not conversed in English, explaining anything is quite difficult. However they are all very pleasant. Breakfast is very basic and hot food is served up almost cold.... Excellent lobby lounge with tea & coffee available free 24 hours. If I am in Bangkok again I would certainly recommend this hotel but you need to take a cab to reach shopping etc, very lose to Skytrain station.
Out of reach reach of everything.... Taking a cab is very easy but traffic will prolong the journey anywhere. Skytrain is always crowded ...

I booked a standard room and I was lucky to get an executive room for the same price. The jacuzzi was good, the room clean and the staff of the hotel was nice.
The hotel is near the skytrain station but the station is a little bit far from the center. I had an executive room instead of standard. It was good but I don´t know how is the value for money for a standard room. The breakfast is ok but not exceptional.

The value for money at the hotel was great, and the room was excellent with a wonderful view of the pool. The staff were friendly and always eager to meet our needs.
The hotel breakfast menu could use some more variety.
